JOB DESCRIPTION: ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT


Position Title: Administrative and Financial Assistant
Contract Type: Fixed-Term Contract (FTC)
Location: Niamey, Niger
Desired Start Date: September 1st
Supervisor: Human Resources Manager


POSITION OBJECTIVE :


The Administrative Assistant is responsible for supporting the daily administrative operations of Kiary Enterprises. He/she ensures the smooth organization of office tasks, document processing, management of official correspondence, and administrative follow-up with clients and partners (including tax and social security declarations).


MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :


1. General Administrative Management

  • Welcome visitors and clients in person and by phone.
  • Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and appointments.
  • Keep company administrative records up to date.
  • Ensure both physical and digital filing of documents.

2. Document and Correspondence Processing

  • Draft letters, memos, reports, and official correspondence.
  • Format and distribute internal and external documents.
  • Track incoming and outgoing mail.

3. Tax and Social Compliance

  • Prepare monthly and annual tax declarations in coordination with the accounting department.
  • Monitor the company’s legal obligations (social security, taxes, etc.).
  • Serve as a liaison with tax and social administration offices.

4. Administrative Support to Teams

  • Provide logistical and document support to various company departments.
  • Manage office supplies and ensure their availability.
  • Participate in organizing internal events and client meetings.

PROFILE REQUIRED

  • Education: Minimum Bac+2 (Associate degree or equivalent) in Administration, Secretarial Studies, Management, or related field.
  • Experience: At least 1 year of experience in a similar position.
  • Languages: Excellent command of French (spoken and written); proficiency in English is an asset.
  • IT Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Soft Skills: Strong organizational skills, discretion, autonomy, and attention to detail.

WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Location: Niamey, Niger
  • Working Hours: 8:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. / 2:30 p.m. – 5:30 p.m., Monday to Friday
  • Salary: To be negotiated based on profile and experience
